We had a fantastic stay at August Hostel in Chiang Mai. the location was ideal, right in the heart of the old town, between the temples and the Sunday market street. the staff were extremely polite and helpful, providing us with detailed directions and useful information about the Chiang Mai region. the hostel itself was clean and comfortable, with cozy beds and well-maintained facilities. the common area and Wi-Fi were excellent, making it easy for us to relax and stay connected. August Hostel provided a strategic and enjoyable experience for travelers like us. Cons: Nothing, everything was great! 😊.

The location of this hostel is excellent, with key tourist spots, restaurants, and bars nearby. the staff were super friendly and went out of their way to help. the beds were comfortable and had individual lights and power sockets. the shared bathrooms were clean and well-maintained.
The property lacks natural light due to a limited number of windows.

Great location near temples, Sunday night market, and restaurants. Vibrant common room for meeting fellow travelers. Delicious free breakfast with toast, cereal, and eggs.

I recently stayed at August, and I had an amazing time exploring the old town. The breakfast was decent, especially the delicious coffee. The beds were comfy with individual lights, shelves, plugs, and curtains. The location was perfect, close to temples, the Sunday market, and travel agencies. I even met great people and went out together one night. I will be recommending this hostel to others.
Can't recommend highly enough this hostel.

The value for money at August was excellent - the room was well worth the price. The location was perfect, as it was just a short stroll to the Sunday market and close to everything we needed. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and were incredibly helpful.
Menu for breakfast could have had more variety.

I recently stayed at August for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The hostel is brand new, clean, and the staff are very helpful and nice. The location is perfect for exploring the old town, and just opposite the hostel is the beautiful Phra Sing Temple. The beds are comfy and each one has a shelf, light, plug, and curtain. The morning breakfast is decent and the coffee is particularly good. a great stay in a calm and nice area.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff were absolutely amazing, always willing to help and provide assistance with any questions or concerns. They were knowledgeable about local activities and provided useful recommendations. The hostel had a great atmosphere for meeting new people, and the common areas were clean and well-maintained.
There were a few drawbacks during my stay. there were an excessive amount of mosquitoes in the hostel, which made it difficult to relax and enjoy the space.

Super comfy sleeping nook with curtains, light, outlet, and shelf. Clean dorms, restrooms, and kitchen. Simple but nice breakfast. GREAT TV room with Netflix. Super helpful staff with 5% discount on attractions.

Our stay at August was overall very pleasant. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city with easy access to cafes and cheap food options. We appreciated that the hostel was close to everything in the old town area, including the temples and Sunday market street. The host was particularly helpful, giving us valuable guidance and directions for exploring Chiang Mai. Additionally, it was a nice touch that someone reached out to us via email to ensure a smooth check-in process. Despite a few minor inconveniences, like a shared bathroom and some noise issues, our room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hostel for a short stay in Chiang Mai.

As a tourist, I loved the newness and cleanliness of the hostel. the hot showers and comfy beds with curtains provided the perfect level of comfort. the AC worked really well, ensuring a pleasant stay. the breakfast selection was great, with eggs, fruit, cereal, bread, and more. the staff was incredibly friendly and always had a smile on their faces. They were happy to assist with all our questions and gave excellent recommendations. They even helped us arrange transportation to the bus station. Thank you, Ploy and the other girls, for your exceptional service.

August, the owner, was incredibly helpful and made my experience even better. the hostel itself was beautifully decorated, clean, and had great common areas. the location was fantastic, right in the heart of the old city. Everything I needed was within walking distance, including convenience stores, bike rentals, and markets. the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and the breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. Cons: Can't think of anything! 😊.

amazing location near Walking Street Market and great atmosphere with friendly staff. Beds were comfortable and clean, and the bathrooms were well-maintained. The owner went above and beyond with assistance, including visa paperwork and restaurant recommendations. Will definitely return and recommend to others.
